Ep. 06 - Should I Do a Cleanse/Detox?

Hey guys, I’m back with another episode and this one’s pretty juicy! In this episode I’m talking about what a detox IS, what it ISN’T and who should/shouldn’t do it.

I’ll let you in on a little secret… it’s NOT a quick and easy fat loss solution. Unfortunately, that doesn’t exist. Healthy fat loss is only achieved through diet and exercise.

A detox may be good for you if you haven’t been eating right, have been exposed to pesticides/toxins/heavy metals, or have just been feeling sluggish. While our body is an expert at detoxifying and cleansing itself, sometimes it can become overloaded with how many toxins we come into contact with daily.

A detox may not be for you if you have underlying health conditions or are taking medications. Always talk to your primary care physician first.

Another important note is that not all detoxes are the same! So it’s best to research your options and talk to someone who’s qualified.
